The Gospel of Mark: Persistent Faith and the Goodness of Jesus
The story of the Gentile woman shows us what genuine faith looks like—humble, persistent, and confident in the goodness of Jesus. Even when it feels like barriers are in the way, real faith presses on, believing that God is kind and compassionate. Sometimes our faith is grown through waiting, suffering, and not getting immediate answers. But Jesus isn’t pushing us away—He’s drawing us closer, inviting us to a deeper trust that brings healing and life. Our response is to come to Him with humility, knowing He really is that good.
