Joshua: He Speaks, We Move - Week 9 - Gibeon and Our Need for Prayer

How’s your prayer life? In Joshua 9, the Israelites got into trouble because they failed to seek the Lord and trusted in their own wisdom. It’s a pitfall we can easily fall into, too. We need God’s power and wisdom to equip us to live God-honoring lives! Trusting in our own wisdom will lead to a prayerless life, devoid of God’s power and susceptible to walking into foolishness. But if we trust God and seek His wisdom, it will lead to a vibrant life of prayer and connection to Him. As His children, we have direct access to God through Christ! Let’s be a people who run to God and seek His wisdom!
