Joshua: He Speaks, We Move - Week 6 - Consecration and Covenant Renewal

Our friend Chad Rogers from Fellowship Jonesboro was with us this last weekend! Chad continued in Joshua chapter 5 when God calls the Israelites to consecrate themselves again to the Lord in a covenant renewal. As God set apart the Israelites as His chosen people from the surrounding nations, He also desires that we would be set apart for Him in our cultural moment. Our relationship with God is a covenantal relationship - not based on our own efforts, but based in the love of God for us. Through consecration, we give God our best "yes" and He reminds us again of His commitment to us and the purposes He has for us.
