Thank you for joining us as we seek God morning, noon, and night this week! To meaningfully connect with God in these times, we encourage you to go someplace quiet and away from distractions. Then spend time worshipping, reading Scripture, and reflecting on how it applies to your life. Journaling what God speaks to your heart will help make this time even more meaningful. We also encourage you to try a "practice fast" for one meal on one of these days leading up to the fast.

Scripture Reading
Romans 15:13
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
Reflection / Application
God is the only source of true hope. All else fades away, but His kingdom and His plan remains forever. Spend a few moments reflecting on the hope you have each day because of Jesus. Ask God to renew your hope in Him.

Scripture Reading
Romans 8:24-25
For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Isaiah 40:31
but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Reflection / Application
Practice waiting for the Lord. Spend a few minutes silent before Him asking Him to speak to you and renew your strength. Ask God to put a patient hope in your heart for His plans and His purposes to be fulfilled.

Scripture Reading
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Reflection / Application
We hope for eternal life, so we don't lose heart in this world full of suffering. Reflect how God is your anchor in every storm you face, and that one day He will bring you into a glorious reality that will make all the pain you experience so small in comparison.
