Righteousness in the Holy Spirit - Romans 14:17 - Brian Barr

What pleases God? This question is at the heart of what the Bible says about righteousness. This week, Brian Barr kicked off a new 3-week sermon series on Romans 14:17 - a verse that reminds followers of Jesus what is most important to the Christian life. Pursuing righteousness means living to please God wholeheartedly. Sometimes we can feel like “loser” Christians because we try, but fail and don’t feel righteous. The good news of the gospel is that, in Christ, our status of righteousness does not change! And God has given us His Holy Spirit who empowers us to hunger and thirst for righteousness, and to become in practice who we already are in Christ!
